Front of House Staff – Spring/Summer 2024 Part-time.
Strawberry Tree will be looking for front of house staff for spring/summer 2024 (for both daytime and evening shifts). We have opportunities available at weekends and weekdays. You do not need to have years of experience – you just need to be curious about food and drink; genuinely interested in other people; possess buckets of initiative; and would like to be part of a close family team. Daytime Assistant Front of House Manager
Strawberry Tree is looking for a Daytime Assistant Front of House Manager. Part-time. Mon, Thurs, Fri & Sat, 10am - 3pm.
We value work ethic and attitude more than work experience. If you love hospitality, engaging with people, have attention to detail and are looking to learn, then we will train you across all the front-of-house aspects of our business, ranging from a restaurant, cookery school, shop and events.
We will train you about the customer-facing side of our business - engaging with our lovely customers; taking bookings; dealing with and ordering from suppliers, restocking as necessary; using and managing our EPOS system; opening up and closing our business; setting up our space for a range of events, from cookery classes and tastings, through to jazz and tapas evenings; and in short, being capable of running the daily operations of our multi-faceted business during the day.
The above may sound daunting or unfamiliar to you, but don’t worry – we will train you as necessary. You may have loads of hospitality experience or very little –the key to your success will be a desire to create a really great customer experience; a genuine interest in people; loads of initiative– to see things that need doing and act on them; a desire to learn; attention to detail; and the ability to fit into a super-friendly family team.

Working days / hours: Generally Mon, Thurs, Fri & Sat, 10am - 3pm.
