Come and spend the morning in the company of XXX Temperley, and Strawberry Tree co-founder and head chef, Giselle Benrimoj, as we delve into the remarkable story of Burrow Hill Farm and the Temperley family.

To help us explore this relationship, we will be tasting a series of drinks from the Somerset Cider Brandy Co. range and pairing them with various sweet dishes and savoury treats from the Strawberry Tree kitchen. Tickets include tasters and samples of all food and drinks.

In 1989, Burrow Hill Farm was granted the UK’s first ever full cider distilling licence and the family has been distilling cider into Somerset apple brandy ever since. Half of this cider is distilled and matured into brandy for a minimum of three years. This resulting Somerset Cider Brandy is currently the only spirit in England to have a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI). The family also makes award-winning liqueurs and a range of fine ciders, including an ice cider and perry.

So pull up a seat and join us - who knows where the conversation will take us? What we do know is that it will be delicious, boozy and light-hearted as we are nourished and entertained as we're brought back to the heart of what good food and drink is all about - connection and joy.
